On Sunday April 11th we had our Club Tournament day. Fewer members had entered so the number of matches to be played was limited this time - Open Singles, Handicap Singles, Open Doubles, Handicap Double and ‘the Plate’.
Even at a ’leasurely’ start (09:15h) were able to finish at a reasonable time (18:00h). John Fannin again claimed the open singles and also took away the Open Doubles. It was good to see a few new names pop up as winners in the other disciplines. Especially Tony Stephens and David Hyde were conspicuous in their presence in semi and finals matches. Well Done.
