to the web site of Ballards Table Tennis Club. A new name for an old club. Up to some weeks ago we were part of the Woodmansterne Sports Club. Due to circumstances beyond our control this venue would soon no longer be suitable for playing competitive table tennis and we have therefore moved to a fantastic new location in the South Croydon Addington area. The gymnasium at Royal Russell School offers ample room for 6 tables and has excellent lighting.
Have a look around and see who and what we are! We are a small and friendly club and play both friendly and competitive games at our club sessions. In the new (10/11) season will be playing in two leagues again: the Croydon and the Sutton Table Tennis Leagues. We are likely to run 5 teams: 2 in the Sutton and 3 ain the Croydon League. However, at our new venue there is plenty room for more!
Club nights
Club nights are on Monday, commencing September 6th 2010. Up to that time you are welcome to turn up on Wednesdays, where South Croydon TTC (formerly Monkshill TTC) run a summer club for £4/night.
We are warmly inviting new players to join our club, not only to play socially on Monday nights but also to form new teams. Do contact us for more details us if you are keen to pick up that old hobby again after many years. The standard of play in the club varies greatly so we should be able to cater for everyone’s level.
